Had my Whisker for just over a year and love it, only downside are the cheap bushes in the interlastic top kits which can cut into elastic so check!! I now use pulla bungs not the side pulla. I have informed Daiwa about the problem.

used the new whisker for the first time yesterday in the pouring rain.Impressed with the stiffness and the smoothness of the 8 9 & 10 sections but when shipping back to 4 5 & 6 sections it was like hitting a brick wall. They almost felt sticky. Have taken them back to fosters.

Very good all round pole.A good package that satisfies most needs.Highly reccomended.

No way is it better than tournament pro much stiffer a lighter u get what u pay for end of!

Had 1 of every whisker and they're all superb. This one is just as strong as All Terrain but has the benefit of the new smooth finish. Had it against a tourney pro x and very slight difference only at 16m. Not worth paying the extra unless u fish at 16m all the time.

I looked at the Whisker and compared it against the Tourney. Although the tourney has a marginally better pick up at 16 Myra I could't justify an extra 1k, the difference just Isn't worth the extra money.

The spares package is the same too.
