i recently bought this pole, and i used it on saturday, the results i got from my local commercial fishery, was amazing. i pulled out some really good looking carp. it is a very reasonable price and basically you get what you pay for. This pole is a good all rounder, and it is good if you are new to fishing and you want to get involved.

Problem solved. Just bought a maver strong arm for the bargain price of £89.

Help. Second pole neede. Maver blue vaga £70 cheap but new. Or something else same price???

got mine for £69.95 only fished 6 sections a great days silver fishing and no problem with a few carp that passed by 3-4lb great for the money top marks to maver

I have just brought a blue Vega 11m pole from my local tackle shop. i have not used it yet but i will do soon so i will tell you if it a good pole i have put size 12 Maver match this elastic.

I think it's fair to say you get what you pay for. I'm sure as value for money goes it's a reasonable pole but at less than £100 for a 11m pole it's never gonna be great.

Is this a good pole, the star rating would suggest not
