If you want to spend a grand on a cheap 13m pole with two cheap extensions then this is the pole for you!put it in the same class as an avanti but lighter.would not recommend this pole at all.i had mine for 4 months then sold it.waiting for my daiwa g20 to arrive.:)

ive used this pole 4 times now once on a carp puddle catching to 5/6 lb and 3 times in my local club matches for skimmers and silvers. i looked at loads of poles in the £1000 price range and although its not the lightest its very stiff and well balanced even at 14.5 mts. not brilliant at 16 though but most poles are a bit dodgy at 16 mts my previous pole was a maver 351 which cost £300 more than this and although only slightly lighter there is virtualy no difference in balance /handling but im confident my no 4 and 6 sections wont keep breaking like they did on my maver, if your looking for a pole in the £1000 range this pole is well worth a look at and if you shop around you will get it for £900ish , avoid cheap ebay deals . if you want to know more email me ptownsley@fsmail.net

i recently bought this pole for £1012 (elasticated with hollos, pulla bungs, a free cupping kit and a free daiwa pole roller, this pole has not let me downw yet i have had three outings so far with it,one on the canal 3lbs of roach and chub, one at a commercial i cant rember the name of caught around 50lbs of carp averaging 6-8lbs one got me snagged up about 16 meters across the bank while i was pulling out of the snag on my top kit with 17 hollo it copped perfectly fine, the most recent was when i was fishing a match at thorpe constantine and came fourth with 51 lbs of margin tempted barbel and carp at 13 meters in windy and rainy conditions. this pole has impressed me allot the pole is light stiff and the wall thickness isnt bad either, i would highly recomend this pole to anyone who is a serious match angler.<br />
