Description:
How do you better a classic? Carefully. Maintaining the same core blank and power performance the new Tournament Pro X is designed to provide an improved kit package and benefits from two new innovations. To begin with it features Multi Bore Kits, a system of equal length top kits which are all pre set for PTFE diameters of 2.4mm through to 5.3mm. Two of these top three kits, at 4mm, are supplied. Featuring too the ITS taping on the 5, 6 and 7 it also has the new Diamond Satin finish applied on the bigger 8, 9, 10 & butt sections. This exclusive new treatment delivers a microscopic texture that prevents direct sticking of your skin to the section surface, in wet and dry circumstances. Topping off the ‘X’ package are also four match top threes, one top four, two super 4ths, a Tournament cupping kit, a PHEX extension and Tournament holdall. And for loyal followers of the Pro we are also offering a 16.0m ‘pole only’ option 11.
Package:
1 x Tournament Pro X 16.00 Metre Pole
1 x match top 4
4 x Match top 3's
2 x 4mm power kits
2 x super 4th sections
1 x Phex extension

Just put air , airity and tourni pro against eachover at fosters and the pro more than holds it's own , I'd rather spend the money I saved on spares.

  • Review by Jim Jan 14, 2013

Great pole, tried garbolino & shimano but none of them compare to the "Tournament pro X"
Not cheap but well worth the money. Beautifully balanced an the package is brilliant.

It's stiff, Responsive and twice as good as my old maver 501... It has tamed the meadow at heronbrook. If daiwa were paying me i'd say buy the ..... Tourney XXX PRO.

  • Review by marlon Feb 10, 2011

when I fished for a top junior team back in 1994 (Izzak Walton Juniors national winners ) the best pole was a Daiwa Tournament PRO...

I'm now 33 and the best pole on the market is still the Daiwa Tournament pro...!!!!!

    NUFF SAID........
