Disappointed and feel cheated, just sold my silver airity and bought to upgrade, but let me tell you save yourself from making the same blunder I have. Lighter, well if you call 6 grams lighter, then it is ,the top 4s are still the same,No7, 2 grams heaver, No 8, 4 grams lighter,No 9, 4 grams lighter, rest of the sections are the same, that's less than 1/4 of a ounce in old money,it is a little stiffer over the full lenth it's droop is 23mm different, less than a inch. Daiwa won't be getting any more of my money in the future.  [See All Comments]

This is the best margin pole you will buy bar none. I have had at least 9 other margin poles over the years and the only thing as strong as this is a original Lucifer, but it also weighs twice what the 2k4 weighs. I have Banked carp to 22lb from Drayton ressy and foul hooked 18lb fish in the tail and still got them in using 0.25 line and kamasan 980 hooks ... [More]  |  [See All Comments]

Bought this pole about 4 months ago. Have had no problems with it, apart from a break in section 6 which was my fault. It is was Daiwa say it is, a good all rounder. more than useable at 14m, and improves as it gets shorter.  [See All Comments]

I have used the blue vega at my local commercial fishery, Partridge lakes, I have had some big bagging sessions which have included a few double figure fish over 10lbs and the pole handled them easily... I have 14s elastic and the carp really do put up a good fight. I would recommend this pole highly because at only £99.99 its amazing value ... [More]  |  [See All Comments]

Had the pole 4/5months and had nothing but trouble with it! Number 4 section has snapped on a fish 4 times now! I expected a bit more paying over £1000 for it! First diawa pole and it will be the last!  [See All Comments]

This is a slim yet powerful pole ,used it to catch the the best part of a 200lb bag of carp. I fished this with the new garbolino coex hollow elastic 16-20 and had no problem landing carp between 4 to 10lb Fosters of bham are sellin this at the moment for £89.99 with free Hollow elastic of your.  [See All Comments]
